Sheet Metal Engineering & Fabrication
Stainless steel, aluminium, galvanized or mild steel sheet metal fabrication and light engineering are our specialty. Our services include, TiG, MiG & Arc welding, machining and lathe work, marine and food grade fabrication, pipe work, handrails, maintenance and repairs on or off site. Select Engineering can also assist with design and finishing process, including CAD drawing, polishing, galvanizing, powder coating or anodising. Cutting and Folding
Select Engineering has an onsite guillotine which can cut 4mm mild steel and 6 mm aluminium sheets. There is also a box and pan folder onsite which is also capable of folding 4mm steel and 6mm aluminium.
With the onsite cutting and folding machinery Select Engineering can produce stainless steel or aluminium flashings, cappings, cladding and guttering for domestic or commercial buildings including splash backs and bench tops.

CAD Drawing
Select Engineering is the only engineering business in Wanaka with Inhouse CAD Drawing.
From custom one off projects and prototypes Select Engineering can either work from your plans or ideas. With the Inhouse CAD Drawing they are able to produce plans from your ideas and inspiration – whether it be an outside table & furniture to producing a detailed plan of your structural needs including PS4 sign offs.
Repairs & Maintenance
Select Engineering has extensive knowledge of bakery manufacturing equipment & maintenance. They are able to provide maintenance schedules and custom build equipment.
